Veteran's Rights

As a veteran myself, I uniquely understand the numerous issues faced by our Veterans. The men and women who volunteer to serve in our Armed Forces sacrifice their personal freedom and sometimes their health in order to protect our country. These heroes and their families deserve all of our appreciation and support.

I support quality, reliable and available medical care for these brave men and women, including Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) such as the one scheduled to open in Hickory within a year or two. I also support efforts to reduce the bureaucratic maze that hampers veterans in their efforts to take full advantage of all of their rights and benefits.
