When you make a donation to the Campaign, federal law requires that we collect your name, mailing address, employer, occupation and the amount of your contribution. To make a contribution online, we also ask for your credit card number and its expiration date. Federal law requires the Campaign to report this information to the Federal Election Commission if an individual’s contribution or cumulative contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, federal government contractors, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status (“green cards”) are prohibited.
