From the Hickory Daily Record- McHenry spin doctors cross the line; Sister critical of name-calling

I would like to start by saying that when I read the article over the weekend about my brother being called "Lying Lance", that Mr. McHenry and his band of Spin Doctors had crossed the line.

I have you to know, Mr. McHenry, my brother gave up many years of his life serving his country in various capacities and you disrespect him by calling him a liar!

This is becoming a pattern with you in how you disrespect our men and women who serve our country. Is this how you treat all military personnel, or just the ones that intimidate you? I have read everything that is in print and at no time has my brother attacked our congressman personally, but basically called him out on the carpet about his actions as a representative of our area. I can assure you Mr. Climer if anyone has any lies, it may be the never seen, "no-show" McHenry. You have insulted the integrity of my family and where I come from those are called "fighting words" and we Sigmons enjoy a good fight.

So, come on, Patrick, be a man and admit that you had no business being in Iraq, because of your lack of military experience and that you regret having aired the footage of this trip. And further more, what is up with having a faxed letter from your attorney firm, please! Don't you know that it is more effective if you do it in person? But, then again, you don't do anything in person, do you, "Pompous Pat"?
