Lance and Air Crew

Lance enlisted in the Air Force on his 18th birthday using the Delayed Entry Program (DEP), and shortly after graduating from high school, Lance left for basic training. He became a B-52H defensive aerial gunner, which were capable of carrying nuclear weapons. Here, Lance is pictured with his air crew in Grand Forks, North Dakota
